About this tour
Explore Western Australia's most photogenic landmarks over two days, travelling north from Perth along the coast to discover colourful salt lakes, massive sand dunes and a desert of towering limestone formations. Your Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking guide leads the drive along scenic coastal roads, stopping at Lancelin for sandboarding, Jurien Bay's turquoise waters, and the quirky Leaning Tree near Greenough. Spend one night in Geraldton and capture the ever-shifting hues of Pink Lake and the alien landscape of the Pinnacles Desert, with complimentary drone photography included (weather dependent).

What to expect
This is a road trip with proper stops rather than rushed photography tourism. Expect 4–5 hours of driving spread across day one and two, with meaningful time at each location rather than quick pop-ins. The Pink Lake's colour varies by season and light; bring a good camera or phone. Sandboarding is optional (hire available for $10). Evening stargazing is available for $30 extra—the Geraldton region has minimal light pollution. All transport from your Perth hotel is covered, as is one comfortable night's accommodation. Drone footage comes back to you if weather cooperates; if not, you'll still have ground-level views.
Good to know
Pack light—vehicle space is limited on group tours. One 20-inch carry-on or backpack per person; large luggage should stay at your hotel. Minimum moderate fitness required; the tour is unsuitable for spinal injuries, pregnancy or cardiovascular concerns. Bring sunscreen, hat and water (bottles provided but extras help). Wear sturdy shoes for sand and uneven desert terrain.
