Ningaloo Sailing

Sail Ningaloo Tours offers guests a world class experience into nature. They supply interpretive and educational interaction with minimum impact. Guests will receive an adventure of a lifetime aboard their luxury live-aboard sailing tours.

Ningaloo Reef Tours
In the cooler months, between March and October, these tours depart Coral Bay in the North West of Australia.
During this time they offer a three day / two night Coral Garden Spectacular Tour, a five day / four night Ningaloo Escape Tour or combine the two for a nine day Ultimate Ningaloo package.

Summer Perth Tours
In the summer months, between November and February, Sail Ningaloo is based in Fremantle. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate and spoil your self with a luxurious sailing adventure.
During this time they offer a Rottnest Island Day Sail and two over night charters visiting Rottnest Island - 2 day Escape & 3 day Getaway.

Private Charters
Private charters are also available for the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park + Rottnest Island areas.

The Vessel

‘Shore Thing’ is alive-aboard sailing catamaran, 51 feet in length and 27 feet in width. Being a catamaran she is extremely comfortable and stable, both at sea and at anchor.

As a catamaran, she is an ideal vessel for accessing the many shallow inner reef lagoons and also easy inner reef access for calm anchorage in all weather conditions. Sail Ningaloo can take their guests to places and show them things no one else can!

Guests may join their captain at the helm and can enjoycomfortable seating with a bird’s eye view of the natural wonders of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park. Otherwise guests can relax on the large impressive forward deck and trampoline area, lazing in the shade of the sails. The saloon area has plenty of room to seat all guests in comfort. The large back deck area is well shaded and great for outdoor dining.


Onboard Accommodation

The 'Shore Thing' only accommodates for a maximum of 10 guests, creating an intimate and unique experience. The vessel has 4 toilets and 4 showers on board and beautifully designed cabins for privacy and comfort.

Stateroom Triple

Deluxe Double Cabin
- Private room featuring air-conditioning, fan and double bed with shared facilities.


Activities

Available activites while staying on board include snorkelling in the protected reef lagoons, scuba diving, kayaking through peaceful lagoons to a secluded beach, observing marine life in their natural environment, catching a fish for dinner, photographing the beautiful natural surrounds, star gazing, beach combing or just plain relaxing surrounded by the pristine beauty of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park.

How to get to Ningaloo Reef Marine Park

Coral Bay is located approximately 1200 km by road north of Perth and 150 km south of Exmouth.
  • SkyWest operate daily flights to and from Exmouth.
  • A great way to get to Coral Bay from Exmouth and return is via Ningaloo Reef Air. Enjoy a scenic flight along the coastline.
  • Or if you like a bit more adventure why not try Coral Coast Tours for a scenic 4wd day trip along the length of the reef from Cape Range National Park to Coral Bay.
  • Standard mini bus transfer is also available from Exmouth Airport to Coral Bay.
